When the Power Goes Out, Your Home Shouldn’t Stop
Power outages can disrupt your life and leave you without essential comfort and safety. A Briggs & Stratton standby generator keeps your home powered automatically when the grid goes down, giving you peace of mind with uninterrupted backup power.
Comfort During an Outage
Keep cool or stay warm, watch your favourite show, and enjoy a hot meal while your standby generator keeps your home running.
Protection Against Outage Costs
Avoid unexpected costs that can happen when a home sits without power, including hotel stays, spoiled food, and basement water and mold damage.
Confidence for Your Family
A standby generator provides security and confidence that your family’s life can continue uninterrupted, no matter the weather outside.
Automatic Backup Power in Less Than 30 Seconds
A home standby generator is permanently installed on your property and connected to either a natural gas utility line or liquid propane tank. The system includes a standby generator and an automatic transfer switch connected to your home’s electrical panel. The transfer switch monitors utility power and, when it detects a power loss, automatically starts the generator and transfers your home to backup generator power in under 30 seconds.
